“Keep Austin Weird” is what the city goes by, so why not an create an Undie Run® there? Just after San Diego’s Undie Run®, Weston created it in Austin and it took flight. The run happens right by The University of Texas and goes down “the drag”. This run pulls in great turnouts every year and also has some of the best local bands and performers before the run. This one is a lot like other festivals in Austin (ACL, SXSW) of course on a smaller scale . It’s just pure fun! Last year they donated a whopping 3,200 pounds of clothing to LifeWorks and the Trinity Center.
