AXE was a major corporate sponsor in 2010, creating the “AXE Undie Run® Challenge.” Seeing an opportunity to influence the greater college population, the Undie Run® franchised its unique vision of philanthropy to include 9 other schools, growing from 1,500 participating students to a conservative estimate of 60,000.
Those schools involved: San Diego State University, University of California at Santa Barbara, University of Texas, University of Kansas, Boston College, University of Wisconsin, University of Maryland, University of Washington and Arizona State University.

The Travel Channel called us and wanted to feature Austin’s Undie Run® because they heard it had the best entertainment. Being from the “live music capital of the world,” Austin was game. The show was called “EXTREME” and this episode was about “the most extreme traditions.” The Travel Channel…well, did what they did best and traveled around the world to film these traditions. The Austin Undie Run® was so good that it became the teaser throughout the hour-long episode, being the last to be shown.
